Breaking News: Harvey Weinstein assaulted 16-year-old girl, lawsuit claims
Sky’s Hannah Thomas Peter breaks the news that Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein has been accused of assaulting and harassing a 16-year-old girl. New court documents say that the teenager moved from Poland to the US in 2002 in order to model, with hopes of becoming an actress. It is part of an expanded class action law suit which has been constructed to combine several suits with similar claims. Harvey Weinstein’s lawyer Benjamin Brafman told Sky News: “This claim is preposterous and eventually, just as others have been exposed to be liars, this uncorroborated allegation that is almost 20 years old will be shown to be patently false.” Harvey Weinstein also faces criminal charges for sexual assault. He denies all non-consensual sexual conduct.
