Arrived at Christchurch some of our activities were:- Punting on Avon, Christchurch Tram, Gondola Ride, Antarctic Centre Stayed at the Lanarch Castle Dunedin, while there we visited the Cadbury Chocolate Factory Tour and went on the Otago Peninsula Royal Albatross Classic Tour Went to Invercargill. Went on the worst 1 hour boat trip we have ever been on.... Stewart Island Day Excursion. Weather was so bad we paid extra for the last flight out. Stayed in Te Anau went on Anau Glowworm Caves tour. Went on Milford Sound Nature Cruise... a magificent place to see. Arrived in Queenstown met at the Steamer Wharf for a cruise on the TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Farm for a gourmet BBQ dinner. Included a sheep show and glimpse at high country farm life. Explored Queenstown ‐ Queenstown Gondola Ride Travelled along the Rugged West Coast and through the Gates of Haast UNESCO area to Franz Josef township. Travel through to Greymouth heritage town. In the afternoon we boarded the Tranz Alpine train,one of the top six train journeys in the world. From Greymouth to Christchurch travel through 19 tunnels and some beautiful scenery. After breakfast we enjoyed the day of free time in Christchurch before we flew home.
