Plans to place age restrictions on porn get delayed
Controversial plans that mean users will have to verify their age to access pornographic websites have been delayed yet again. The legislation, which was passed as part of the 2017 Digital Economy Act in a bid to stop children accessing the content, was initially expected to be in place by April 2018. But the 'porn block' plan has stalled after worries about what companies would do with their users' personal data.
