Daily Rhythm, 2018 Seven videos installation, 25mins In Daily Rhythm, I took a 5 second video every 10 minutes from a fixed spot at Lake Michigan, Chicago. This project was also started before the sunrise and completed after the sunset over period of 4 weeks. During the shooting, the camera remained static. 7 screens represent 7 days in a week simultaneously and continue for 4 weeks. Projecting everyday images of light and dark, day and night, and rising and setting of the sun as a metaphor of life and death, I am trying to get the viewers not to lament the brevity of life, but to understand the beauty of ephemeral rhythm.
