For 33 years, Creative Art Works has been inviting NYC’s young people to engage in authentic experience. As the world has evolved towards touch screens, virtual interactions, and instantaneous info around the clock, we’ve continued to invite our kids to dig deeply – into art materials and the artistic process, complex questions and conversations – and to become the authors of their own experience. CAW's Annual Benefit for Kids raised over $770,000 thanks to strong support from CBRE, Rockefeller Group, 1271 Avenue of the Americas Leasing Team, Cushman and Wakefield, JLL, Newmark, Tishman Speyer and many other corporate and individual sponsors. On April 11th, over 350 people gathered in the lobby of Rockefeller Group’s 1271 Avenue of the Americas, which was transformed into a chic gallery featuring paintings, drawings, sculpture and animated videos by kids and young adults from some of CAW’s many programs.
