Jesse Langford, 19, was too badly hurt to attend the ceremonies for dad Anthony, 51, mum Kristine, 46, and 17-year-old sister Winona, who were killed when New Zealand’s White Island volcano erupted . Instead, a live feed of the service was relayed for Jesse, who has severe burns.
