A protest was held in Manchester city centre to mark the first anniversary of the death of a 12-year-old schoolgirl

One year on since the tragic death of 12-year-old Shukri Abdi and many still want answers for what happened on that day in June. Shukri, a pupil at Broad Oak Sports College in Bury, sadly drowned in the River Irwell near Bury town centre on June 17 last year.
