This is a 6 part video series. Wing Chun/Ving Tsun from Hong Kong often has a 60/40 type stance, often a front stance 50/50 too, while the Wing Tsun systems use a 100% stance and posture pull step. WT does turns different and we decide when to step, how to do it, and if we need to retreat with footwork differently too. I think it is all Ving Tsun, but different people in Hong Kong received different versions of it, or never got out of the beginner sets. They became famous Si-Fu's in their own right, and today we have a wide range of ways to do it. Bruce Lee did not have a Ving Tsun Si-fu to guide him once he left Hong Kong, so he became a Ronin, a Self-Sifu. He knew what to look for and found it in Kali Escrima. So we also must consider what Si-Fu Lee came up with and how his students continue Jeet Kwoon Do. Traditional Martial Arts is almost dead, we are all Bruce Lee now. There are a few real teachers still going strong, and the truth is there for anyone to discover on their own. I have been collecting information on my theory recently in a WIng Chun News Group on Facebook. Mostly offering general guidance but sometimes hunting Trolls. They have given me a wealth of visual and theory data for my proof. About 2 weeks of debate and video observation comments with some Ving Tsun based Chunners who are sparring or doing pressured testing chi say in a news group. Each video begins with a review of the prior so it seems like you might have seen the video already. They are numbered 1 to 6 if you are unsure.
