The Good News! How do you get the Holy Spirit? believe Jesus In Genesis 1 what did God create? Everything, everyone. What was His most important creation? Us What happened shortly after we read about Adam and Eve being created? What does sin do to our relationship with God? It separates us from God. Who does Romans 3:23 say sins? "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard." And what does Romans 6:23 say the result or consequence of our sin is? "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 5:8 says "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." What did God show us? His great love How did He show it? By sending Jesus to die for us What were we when God did this? Sinners How does Romans 10:9-10 say we can be saved from our sins and have a relationship with God? "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved." Have you believed in Jesus? If not, why not?
