Cook Films is comprised of a husband-and-wife team. We have been married for over 20 years and we bring that commitment to our wedding clients. We are committed to capturing, creating, and delivering a first-rate product that you can share with friends and family.I would like to share a little about myself with you. My name is Jeff Cook, and I have been working behind the camera for over 20 years. I began as a photojournalist with Fox 26 news, a Fox affiliate. I later went on to work with KGPE 47, KSEE 24 and ended my news career with ABC 30. As a news photojournalist you need to always be ready for the action. We cannot re-create what happens, that would be unethical. There are many similarities between being a news photojournalist and being a wedding filmmaker/videographer. You must always be ready to capture what happens. I believe being on your toes ready for the next shot and the creative aspect of weddings is what attracted me to become a wedding filmmaker. I decided to take a turn away from the news business and start my own company. Cook Films was once known as Jeffrey Cook Videography. Formally known in the wedding industry as Jeffrey Cook Videography, we were awarded two years in a row as Weddingwire’s Couples’ Choice Award, and Enterprise awarded us two years for being the Best Wedding Videographers in Fresno CA. Cook Films has won 9 Telly Awards, two CalSPRA Awards and an Edward R. Murrow Award. My wife and I left the wedding business in late 2017 to focus on raising our children; we were missing out on sports and other activities our children were taking part in. In 2021, we decided to return to the wedding business and are eager to get our name Cook Films recognized.
