Employing our vast array of media contacts across the country, Echelon PR Group created a groundswell of attention in the television, digital, social and print arenas. Coverage in mainstream media such as USA Today, Good Morning America, the Today Show, city and metro newspapers, and news syndicates saturated our key markets. Our partnership with the NBA team the Miami Heat and the Humane Society of America resulted in dozens of abandoned pets in flooded Florida shelters being flown across the county to eager adopters in California. FedEx spokespeople struggled to keep up with the demand for interviews and quotes. By May, the brand was synonymous with philanthropic endeavors — especially in the disaster relief arena — as evidenced by a Harris poll of increased brand recognition of the FedExCares program.
