Qatar’s people responded very well to vaccination campaign “More than half a million people have now had both doses and are fully vaccinated, and every week more than 160,000 doses are given. The drive through vaccination centres have been a huge success and so far more than 170,000 people have visited the vaccination centres at Lusail and Al Wakra” said Dr. Soha Al Bayat, Head of Vaccination at the Ministry of Public Health. More than 1.5 million doses have been administered since the start of the national campaign, and around 44% of the adult population have now received at least one dose of vaccine. Car dining: A COVID-19 alternative to dine in Diners in Doha can enjoy restaurant meals from the safety and comfort of their vehicles, as many eateries have started a drive-in service for those who want to enjoy eating out during COVID-19 restrictions. Many restaurants have adopted this approach as a way to continue receiving customers without breaking COVID-19 precautionary measures. Customers can have their food and drinks inside their cars with special setups. Each meal order comes on a customizer tray that fits in the narrow space between the driver seat and steering wheel . Some restaurants serve using small trays that fit in between the driver and passenger seats. Qatar’s weather Today Doha will see temperatures between 25 and 35 degrees. Elsewhere in the country it will be between 19 and 38 degrees. Now today’s COVID update. In the last 24-hour period, there have been 650 new cases of COVID-19 and 1,527 recoveries. Unfortunately, there were also 7 Covid related deaths. Which means for the ninth day running there has been a decrease in active cases, today dropping by 884 giving us a new current total of 14,766 active cases.
