Recorded Sunday, July 18, 2021 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Bangor, Wisconsin. WELCOME TO WORSHIP In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we welcome you to St. Paul’s. We especially welcome our guests who have joined us today. We pray that your soul will be strengthened by the good news of God’s forgiveness through Jesus. TODAY’S WORSHIP THEME Last week we saw that we’re well equipped with the Word of God. This week we focus on actually…using it. All Christians are called by God to be witnesses of his grace in the gospel message. So even though it can sometimes be difficult to do, we’re faithful to our calling to preach the Word. A BROTHER HAS GONE TO HEAVEN Our brother in the faith, Jim Stanley, has been called home to heaven to live with his Savior. We praise and thank Jesus for his work in Jim’s life and for giving him the victory won on the cross. The family plans to celebrate this victory with a funeral service on Saturday, July 24, at 1:00 pm. There will be a visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the sanctuary before the service, with a luncheon served after the service in the church basement. Come join the family in praising our God for his eternal grace. QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING – AUGUST 1 Our next voters’ meeting will be August 1 at 1:00 pm. Please attend to stay up to date with St. Paul’s ministry, give your input on congregational matters, and honor the blessing and privilege given by God to his church. THANK YOU FOR FAIR BOOTH HELP Thank you to all of those who helped with donations, setup, and manning the booth at the fair. We had a blast and met a lot of great people. Please pray that the seeds planted on Wednesday night can bear fruit and that more people can join us in heaven if not at St. Paul’s before then.
