Mournful goodbye to endangered vaquita porpoise with less than 30 of its species left

A mournful procession has been held for a critically endangered type of porpoise after the species’ numbers fell to below 30. With drums, chimes and a carved vaquita skull, hundreds of people made their way through a downtown Mexico City park to say goodbye to the vaquita porpoise.
