The video is from a channel called China Central Television (CCTV) called CCTV news. It started from 1978 and plays everyday at noon. This program is known as “vane of chinese politics,” aim to “promote the voice of the party and government and disseminate world events”. Every flat cane (long flat stripes made of clear glass) creates different distortion to the video. Glass is a metaphor for vision. This Video is a part of Installation Filter 1.
