The mini documentary entitled One Team (made for PBS) was produced for TenderHeart Crusades by our founders consist of the 2018 Best Short Doc, Sankofa - Solving X and Global Impact Festival selection, Capoeira Play. Two empowering stories of discovery and triumph over one's situation. Sankofa Solving X is the second part of the Sankofa program trilogy. Championed by Sister Yvetta Eley, the Sankofa program's seeks to teach young African American students about their African roots and heritage. To achieve this, two students are selected to submit their DNA to Ancestry.com for testing. Who are they? Where do I come for? This is their story. Capoeira: Play is the second short documentary based on the life of Anthony Santo Domingo (Mentor & Instructor of Capoeira Brasil Cleveland and the Live the Game program). The documentary speaks to Anthony's relationship with one of his mentors and best friend, Mestre Trapo. We see just how much Mestre Trapo has influenced Anthony's teachings and how through Capoeira they both continue to change their students' lives for the better.
