Love Nourishes A person may be starved for acceptance and approval; love nourishes that hunger and thirst of soul and spirit. Some may not have felt loved growing up, perhaps felt abandoned when a parent died leaving them without a father or mother. Perhaps they were teased at school, excluded from groups they wanted to belong to. They may have been deceived and hurt in a failed relationship. That may have led to a disordered and destructive lifestyle. Hurt people often hurt others. The good news is that love nourishes, especially does the love of God nourish, heal the inner hurts, and restore lives. Do you feel rejected or somehow unworthy? Run to God; let His infinite love and acceptance heal you, make you whole. Let His love nourish and strengthen you. Love nourishes; God is love.
