Edgar Jonathan Mejia Gomez llegó a Tijuana junto con la caravana de Migrantes Centroamericanos a principios de Noviembre del 2018. El tiene 18 años y viaja solo, dejando atrás a su abuelo y a su tía, ya que sus padres fueron asesinados en Honduras, país del cual el ahora huye. Nos dio esta poderosa entrevista minutos antes de que salieran un grupo grande de migrantes a participar en la demostración en la frontera, la cual terminó en la famosa confrontación en la cual agentes fronterizos de los E.U. lanzaron gases lacrimógenos y balas de goma en contra de migrantes en tierra Mexicana. Seguido me pregunto donde estará Edgar Jonathan en estos momentos. Esta entrevista fue grabada el 25 de Noviembre del 2018 en Tijuana, Baja California, México afuera de la Unidad Deportiva Benito Juarez en colaboración con Carmen Valencia. Edgar Jonathan Mejia Gomez arrived to Tijuana along with the caravan of Central American Migrants early in November of 2018. He's 18 years old and he traveled alone, leaving behind only his grandfather and aunt, since his parents were murdered in Honduras, the country he nw flees from. He gave us this powerful interview minutes prior to leaving along with a large group to participate in a demonstration at the border, one which famously ended in the confrontation in which U.S. border patrol agents used tear gas and rubber bullets against migrants on Mexican soil. I often wonder where Edgar Jonathan could be right now. This interview was recorded on November 25th, 2018 in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico outside of the Benito Juarez Sports Complex in collaboration with Carmen Valencia.
