The early days of the lockdown has intensified the accelerated experience of digital communication technologies. Regulations and responses toward the pandemic changed rapidly by the hour, as evidenced on the day of the UK lockdown. Real-time technologies seemed to lag behind real life events, as digital contents required to operated at a speed faster than the technology itself. Yet, this accelerated temporality is in collision with the slowed, quotidian experience of life during the lockdown. Temporal Collision is a small body of work that aims to portray the contradicting experience of temporality online and in the confined physical space.
