The new SharePoint Auto-News Digest feature sounds interesting. It's been announced on the Microsoft Roadmap, and it will email employees the latest News posts they have not read. It will use Microsoft intelligence to define a curated selection of News via an email from SharePoint. This is an excellent way for employees to catch up on News that they may have otherwise missed. A few features worth calling out are: 1, Only published news posts will be sent in the digest (not draft). 2, Auto-News will only send employees news posts that they have permission to view. Finally, 3, if employees want to opt-out of receiving the Auto-News Digest, they can click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email.
