Music] Hello, Colin MacLeod your CFG on the spot news reporter here! Here is a quick tune before the news! [Music] Here's the news. Celtic Fiddle Course Partners Update ============================ It's time for a quick Celtic fiddle course partners update. Link: www.celticfiddleguru2.com/celtic-fiddle-play-by-ear-course-partners/ On Saturday 7th of August, we have our second beginners course starting at Cambridge Regional College. Places are still available there. And over in the U S, our courses are going to begin early September at a number of colleges, including Bucks County Community College, Pennsylvania, Midland college, Texas, Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago, Brookline Adult Education, Massachusetts, Central Texas College, Texas. In mid September, we've got our Celtic Fiddle Play by Ear Beginners course, starting at Holyoke Community College in Massachusetts. Further course partner updates are coming soon. Go to www.celticfiddleguru2.com/celtic-fiddle-play-by-ear-course-partners/ for more information. Celtic Music Jam Sessions ==================== Now let's have a look at what's happening on the Celtic music jam sessions front. On Sunday, 8th of August 3:30 PM, New York time., there's going to be a special jam session then. There'll be a further announcement during the week. Email support@celticfiddleguru.com to find out a bit more before I officially send out another video. And during August, our Celtic music group coaching sessions take place Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM New York time. Sign up at www.celticfiddleguru2.com/online-group-classes/ or email support@celticfiddleguru.com with any questions. And a quick events update on the recent jam session that we did live from the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. It was just a totally fun experience. Thank you to our, on the spot reporter, Robin Mcleod Ingram for the live experience which allowed everyone to connect with the games. It was actually really fun. And I did an online Scottish fiddle competition. I competed in an online Scottish fiddle competition at the games for the first time, getting fourth place and best reel. Plant Loneliness ============ Now, with everyone returned to work, experts have actually warned of plant loneliness. Plants pick up on the vibrations of what's going on around them. It could be your pets or it could be yourself speaking or the radio playing. If there is no one around in the course or no music playing, then there is potential silence in the house and therefore, no vibrations. So why not play your plants some Celtic music whilst you are in the house or let them listen to it when you are away from the house. Roaming Free, an album by myself and Rory Sinclair, Scottish guitarist, that you can download from www.celticfiddleguru.com is a great choice to start with. It’s a cheery and energetic album. And remember a few tunes a day, help your plants breathe, rest and play. Weather Update ============ It’s time for a music weather update. There's a warm weather welcome awaiting for the month of August. [Music] Bye for now. [Music]. Remember to email support@celticfiddleguru.com to get in touch about the events we have on this month. All the best for now. Thank you. Kind Regards Colin MacLeod www.celticfiddleguru.com
